Steve has been minister (rector) of the Parish since 2007. Previously he was assistant minister at Darling Street Anglican Church in Rozelle, Sydney. As minister Steve has overall responsibility for the vision, leadership & teaching of the parish expressed by leading the ministry staff team and chairing the Parish Council. Prior to ordained ministry Steve studied and worked in social work. Steve’s passions in ministry include preaching (especially biblical narratives); getting alongside people to help them grow in Christian character & discipleship; teaching Yr 5 SRE and wrestling with the issues & challenges of leadership.
Steve is married to Anne and they have two daughters, Jessica & Rebekah. Spending time with his family, as well as surfing, modern history, cricket, Manly Sea Eagles and most things 1980’s, Steve enjoys pursuing.
Paul is married to Zoe and they have 2 young children. Paul’s three main roles are the 6pm congregation at All Saints, St David’s 9.30am congregation at Thirroul, and the oversight of Youth Ministry. Paul has been involved youth ministry in churches & holidays camps for over 15 years. He loves cricket, snow skiing and playing guitar, but especially seeing people get to know Jesus and having their lives transformed by him.
Wendy loves introducing people to Jesus, teaching the gospel and encouraging and equipping our church to do the same in the circles God has them. She works with teams to plan creative events that help the church family engage with the wider community and share the gospel in fresh ways. Wendy currently combines ministry 2 days a week at Austinmer Anglican and 2 days with Gospel Communications www.gospel.org.au
Wendy and her husband Shaun have three children 18, 16 and 11. Wendy enjoys early morning walks, the beach with her kids, movies in summer in her garden, city escapes and cooking for friends. She loves to read but always has a pile of half-finished books beside her bed!
Megan is our Parish Administrator. Megan has worked in Office Management and Administration for almost thirty years. Administration is behind the scenes to church ministry but still plays a vital role in being a life saver for Jesus.
Megan is married to Ian and they have two sons Caleb and Lachlan. She grew up in Tasmania and moved to the Illawarra in early 1997. When not at work Megan enjoys spending time with her family, exploring and discovering new places through Geocaching, looking after dogs, watching movies and cooking.
